With a voice of singing declare ye this, and let it be heard, Alleluia!

Utter it even unto the ends of the earth.

The Lord hath delivered his people, Alleluia.

O be joyful in God,
all ye lands,

O sing praises to the honor of his name,

Make his praise to be glorious.

Choirs

Trinity Memorial Church has a long tradition of excellence in worship and music, enhanced greatly by the work of the Mixed Choir. The choir consists of both volunteers and paid professionals who offer the musical talents given them by God to His glory in worship. .

The Mixed Choir

Mixed ChoirThe Mixed Choir is an SATB choir comprised of singers of high school age and above. Its repertoire is drawn from all periods of the sacred choral literature, from chant and music of the Renaissance to contemporary music. Our emphasis is on the great tradition of Anglican church music.

In addition to singing on Sunday mornings, the Mixed Choir provides music for such occasions as Maundy Thursday and Christmas Lessons & Carols, as well as presenting periodic concerts.

Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Membership in the Mixed Choir is preceded by an interview with the Church Musician, Peter Browne.

Treble Choir

TreblesMembership in the Treble Choir is open to young people from third grade through high school (boys until voice change). The choir sings a variety of styles of music, from classical to 21st century. The Treble Choir sings at the 10 a.m. service on the 1st and 2nd Sundays of the month, as well as for special services periodically through the year.

In addition to the full choir rehearsal, singers are able to work through the Anglican choir school curriculum of vocal training and musicianship in small group training.

A choir camp is held on two days at the end of summer. In recent years, Trebles have led a choral Evensong service at the conclusion of their camp experience.

Rehearsals are held on Sunday mornings after church, from 11:15 to 12:15.

The Chime Choir

Chime ChoirThe Chime Choir plays a three octave set of chimes. The choir rehearses on Wednesdays from 5-6 p.m. The chimers (usually) play once a month at services, as well as on major holidays and other special occasions.
