Worship

The worship of God is at the heart of all we do at Trinity. We reach deeply into our Anglican tradition, building on it to explore new ways to give glory to God in our prayers and preaching and music.

Ministers of the Liturgy

Acolytes assist in worship as cross bearers and torch bearers.

Altar Guild is responsible for setting up the altar for worship services.

Chime Choir meets on Wednesdays from 5-6 p.m. They play at services approximately once a month.

Trinity Trebles is a choir of young people from grades 3-12. They rehearse on Sundays from 11:15 to 12:15. They sing at the 10 a.m. worship twice each month.

The Mixed Choir is comprised of adults and high school students. They rehearse on Wednesday evenings at 7:30. They sing weekly at 10 a.m. worship.

Worship Leaders are laypersons licensed to assist in the service.

Lectors are laypersons who read the Scripture lessons at worship services.

Eucharistic Ministers are licensed to assist in the distribution of Communion. Eucharistic Visitors visit the ill and homebound and take Communion to them.

Healing Ministers offer prayers and laying on of hands for healing.

Ushers are responsible for greeting worshipers. They provide a welcome, a bulletin to help navigate the service and directions to available seats. They work at other points of the service, too, gathering the offering and directing traffic at communion. Ushers work in teams, serving approximately once a month.

Counters assist with counting the weekly offering receipts.

Nursery Helpers are responsible for caring for the children in the Nursery during the 10 a.m. worship.
