Exciting Music Events for November

  • TRINITY RINGERS in concert, Friday November 3, 7:30 p.m.  Hear and see our White Chapel bells restored, and performing from the chancel, thanks to moveable furniture! The Hand Chimes will also be used.  This half-hour program includes pieces by Dobrinski, Mocklebust, and others including organ-accompanied pieces by Fauré and Haydn.  This program is offered as part of the First Friday Concerts at Trinity.  Invite a friend to come with you!

  • TRINITY CHOIR and ORCHESTRA in concert, Sunday November 5, 7:00 p.m.  The Trinity Choir and Orchestra will present Gabriel Fauré’s beautiful REQUIEM.  This is a memorial concert, in the long tradition of Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church.  Gifts made to underwrite our orchestra will be noted in the program as memorials for the departed.  Gifts may also give thanks for the living among us.  Deadline for underwriting and memorial information is Nov. 1st, in the church office.   The concert will also include the Bach Brandenburg Concerto III: a rich outburst of joy for strings!   Tim Smith is our Conductor and Organist for both events.

  • SPECIAL MUSIC SUNDAY: November 19  As our Stewardship ministry concludes the public focus for this season, we celebrate God’s blessings with beautiful music by George Friedrich Handel for choir and strings at the 10 am Eucharist.

  • ORGAN CONSOLE REPLACEMENT SOON.  Between November 6 and November 16 our original and large console will be replaced by a smaller movable version. Bruce Borton, Tim Smith and crew are performing the transplant.

  • TRUMPET PIPES COMING SOON  Newly-refurbished Trumpet pipes will be installed in time for Christmas! This is only a part of the larger project, but moves us along the path to completion.
