Bruce Parmalee - Automobile Road Racing in US/Mexico

Automobile Open Road Racing has three legal venues in North America.  Two are in the U.S. and one is in Mexico.  Bruce Parmelee competed in all three of them multiple times over a 17 year period.

On November 20th he will share with Trinity Lunchers his motivation, experiences and some of the complexities related to pursuing this high speed sport.  Additionally he will provide some visual illustrations of outcomes and answer guest questions.

His Road Racing odyssey began in Nevada’s Silver State Open Road Race in 1992 and subsequent years, progressed to a four year effort in Mexico’s seven day, 1,700 mile La Carrera Pan Americana and concluded with Texas’ Big Bend Open Road Race in 2009.

Bruce hopes that his presentation might provide some insight to the inevitable question that people ask, “Why would anyone pursue this sport”?
