The massive flooding that the world witnessed this summer in Houston and elsewhere as a result of Hurricane Harvey demonstrated the power and destructiveness posed by excessive water and the danger that this poses in the world today. This is the focus of Confronting Climate Change, a two-week Trinity Forums series this January.
On January 14th, Cliff Davidson, a professor of engineering and the director of the Center for Sustainable Engineering at Syracuse University, will speak on glaciers and climate change.
The following Sunday, January 21st, Peter Knuepfer, a professor of geology and environmental studies at Binghamton University, will address flooding in this era of climate change.
Please plan to attend.
