Trinity Forum: Learning Communities Initiative
Trinity has been participating in a Diocesan program presented at the last Diocesan Convention called the Learning Communities Initiative. Trinity joined with All Saints in Johnson City to form a team to do three things:
Intentionally listen to God in scripture as to where we may be called;
Observe places where God might be moving in our neighborhoods;
Ask people in our congregations about when and where they have felt most spiritually alive.
In fulfilling the third part of this program, we are asking people to attend a forum on May 20 who are willing to share their experiences about a time in their life when they grew spiritually and where they experience God’s presence most often now. The format splits the participants into small groups so everyone has an opportunity to express their own story and insights. This forum is brought to you by our Parish’s team members: Phyllis Amenda, Barbara Manzo, Fr. Glenn and Bill Palmer.
The Trinity Forum meets most Sundays at 11:30 am in the Common Room; presentations and discussions typically last an hour. Please watch the Trinity Times, the Sunday Bulletin insert, or the Trinity Memorial Website at www.trinitymemorial.org for specific meeting dates and information.
