Here you can find selected material from issues of Trinity Memorial Church's monthly newsletter, the Trinity Times
Did you know that Trinity has a Contra Dance Group that meets here once a month? Several of our members participate and you are cordially invited to join this group! We have had an active group at Trinity since October 2002.
Former Trinity member Hilton Baxter sends this note: “Contra dance has been called ‘an amusement ride we make for ourselves’ or ‘a way to make friends, laugh smile a lot, all set to music- the rest is just details.’”
The dances are open to anyone, young or old (or in between!) with or without a friend. Just bring clean shoes to change into for dancing (to protect our gym floor).
The members of the group will welcome you and teach you the rest you need to know in a kind and friendly manner. It’s a fun way to exercise! If you can walk, you can do contra dance! Want more information? See: www.binghamtondance.org/contra.htm
