Called to Serve?
Our Sunday services are a core expression of our Christian faith: we experience the quiet intensity of spoken prayers at the 8:00 am service, and the spirituality of song and music at the 10:00 am service. Our children get special attention during the 10:00 am service.
And how many of your fellow parishioners are actively engaged in services-related ministries: ushers, lectors, acolytes, and Worship Leader and Eucharistic Minister are key lay ministries in our services. Extending our services to homebound parishioners are our Eucharistic Visitors.
Have you ever asked yourself: do you feel called to offer up yourself to join one of these ministries? Is the thought of offering Communion to a fellow parishioner, or leading the service, daunting? It shouldn’t be - it is, in the end, one of the kindest and most loving ways to deepen your connection with both God and our fellow parishioners.
Barb Manzo and Phyllis Amenda will ensure that you would be given ample training and support to get you ready to take this path in your spiritual journey.
So, here is your call: take the next step, connect with God and your fellow parishioners in a deeper way! Talk with Barb or Phyllis to get you set!
