St. Patrick's Day 2020 at Trinity Memorial
This year Binghamton’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade was held on March 7th. Trinity was a big hit with many children and families. We offered homemade brownies, cookies, hot chocolate, coffee and water for free. With our set-up in front of our church, we also drew a lot of interest in the building itself. We handed out green bead necklaces to the children and Gary Muehlbauer handed out knit hats that a neighbor of his made.
It is a wonderful way to reach out to our community and offer something for free and to share some excellent fellowship time with each other.
In an effort not to miss anyone, let me just thank everyone who baked and provided brownies, helped with the setup and teardown, and especially for the many smiling faces that made the coffee and hot chocolate, or handed out the water, brownies and cookies. A big thank you to the Huff’s that donated the hot chocolate, water and brownie mixes. This really was a group effort.
