Trinity Memorial is not a congregation onto itself:

We connect with each other through services and ministries,

We connect with the community around us in many ways:

We invite the community to join us for Sunday and special services;

We serve the community around us by hosting meals for the hungry;

We serve the community around us by hosting approximately 30 community organizations, ranging from social organizations to those serving persons recovering  from addiction or tough breaks in life;

We offer, through our Community Fund, grants to community organizations filling needs around us.

Connections

Serving our parishioners

We connect with and support each other through prayer and ministries; these include Eucharistic Ministers, Healing Prayer, Acolytes, Lectors, Worship Leaders, Altar Guild, Stewardship of talent, time and treasure; meeting socially to get to know each other in small groups or at parish wide events.

Serving our Community

Trinity Community Canteen

The Trinity Community Canteen lunch program provides a hot meal on Sunday at noon in the Trinity dining room. Between 80 and 100 people are served each week.

Trinity Church hosts and oversees the program. Parishioners pick up extra food donations from Broome Bounty warehouse every week. Various church and community groups prepare and serve the meal. Trinity is responsible for the first Sunday of the month.

In addition, 70 bag suppers are prepared and given to Canteen guests as they leave on Sunday.

Other groups regularly participating in Canteen include St. Mark's Episcopal Church, St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Christ Episcopal Church, Ghosin/Mulligan Team, Temple Concord, St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church and several student groups from Binghamton University.
